Employees with MET degrees are typically classified as engineers, and tasked with computational challenges as well as performing extensive planning. MET engineers are often responsible for the layout and operation of 制造业 processes, and are involved in material selection and 制造业 技术 that maximize the efficiency of bringing a product to market. Some design and analysis work are often required. Many companies have these graduates take the role of project manager or shop floor manager. This employee would often be charged with managing workers or technicians and have budget responsibility.
